The Guedel Tubus is a Oropharyngeal Tube used to prop open the upper airways. Due to his form, the correctly used Guedel Tube prevents that the tongue of a patient can drop back and therefore block the airway. It does not offer protection from Aspiration. The use of a suction catheter is however possible. Furthermore, the Guedel Tube can be used for ET Tube Fixation. For this use, the Guedel Tube also functions as bite block to prevent an occlusion of the ET Tube caused by the patient’s teeth.

Our Guedel Tubes are available both as disposable and reusable versions. There are eight color-coded sizes each (ranging from 3,5 up to 11,0 cm length).
